Australia

Sydney

Sydney is a beautiful place to be, and it's a great place to be outdoors. It's so relaxing to go to the beach and just lay in the sand and tan. When I arrived here I already knew three things I wanted to do. I wanted to see the Opera house, the Chinese Garden of Friendship, and if I had enough money I wanted to see a rugby game. The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts center which is even ore beautiful to look at during the night. The Chinese Garden of Friendship is a very serene place to be. It's very quiet and peaceful and gives you a glimpse of Chinese culture. Sydney is a great place to see all kinds of art and also different sports that aren't very popular in the U.S. The rugby games really draw a crowd and I's one of Australia's national sports. It's hard not to love Australia with all the activities there is to do.

Auckland

Auckland is located on the North Island of New Zealand. Auckland is a great place to visit if you like the city. Being known as the "City of Sails" it's hard to miss all the sail boats and yacts in the harbours and marinas. While in Auckland there is one structure you can't miss , and that is the sky tower. The sky tower is an observation tower that is 1.076ft. tall. Since Auckland is a pretty big city there's plenty of places to go shopping. One of the most popular places to shop are New Market and Parnell. Auckland is a great place to go to experience New Zealand culture.

Queenstown

Queenstown, New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I love the small town feel with no skyscrapers to obstruct the view of lake Wakatipu. Queenstown definetly lives up to it's reputation as being the "Adventure capital of the world". With activities like skiing and snowboarding, jet boating, rafting, bungy jumping, mountain biking, and hiking, plenty of activities to keep you busy. Walking around Queenstown is very relaxing and your surrounded by beautiful mountains. If you take the Gondola, you get a great view of the mountains and the whole town.
